Home - About Us

Torgbe Adjabeng Foundation was established in response to persistent social, economic, and health-related challenges affecting vulnerable communities in Ghana, particularly within rural and peri-urban areas of the Volta Region.

These challenges include chronic poverty, limited access to healthcare and education, youth unemployment, teenage pregnancy, harmful traditional practices, social exclusion, and weak livelihood systems. Communities in and around Mepe in the North Tongu District have been especially affected by these intersecting vulnerabilities.

The Foundation's roots lie in years of informal community service, humanitarian support, and traditional leadership engagement led through local structures. Early interventions focused on emergency relief, health education, advocacy for vulnerable groups, and community mobilisation.

Recognising the need for structured, accountable, and sustainable development action, these initiatives were formalised into

Torgbe Adjabeng Foundation to ensure continuity, transparency, and long-term impact.
